I have lived here in Dunnellon for 15 years and spent summers here growing up. I, along with many of my friends, have children who attend school in Dunnellon. My question is, why does the local news always report happenings at Dunnellon Elem, Middle and High but you never hear about things going on at Romeo Elem., Riverland Baptist School and Dunnellon Christian Academy? I personally believe this to be a great injustice to this wonderful town we live in. Not including ALL the children who attend ALL the schools in Dunnellon, in my opinion, is wrong! Lets give ALL the schools and children the coverage they deserve!!!

I grew up in Dunnellon and now live in a small farm town in Kansas. I want to come back with my sisters and brother for about a week just to "Go home again". Am very interested in renting a house that we all could stay in together. What fun that would be. If you know of anything like that please get in touch with us. Hi. My name is Jennifer and I don't know where else to post this as Dunnellon Police doesn't seem to have a website. I was arrested on 4/19/07 and that was the 1st day of the rest of my life. I had fallen to drugs and was on the path to basically...my death. To this day I remember the officer that took me in. I want to say Thank You, you are truely my hero. My life has changed tremendously. Today I live a clean, good life utilizing my time to achieve my goals. My children are my life and today I want to live again. Someone please make sure Dunnellon P.D. are somehow made aware of this little note of Thanks. I don't feel they are acknowledged enough for what they do. Ultimately they are putting their live's on the line every day and night...for us!! In this case, he did. The day I went to jail, he saved my life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart...and my children Thank you too.
