Sergeant Sue Webb

She has been in the field of Law Enforcement since 1989. She is a native of Florida and holds an A.A. degree from Pasco/Hernando Community College.  She began her career in law enforcement with the Florida Department of Corrections, where she worked with both male and female prisoners and achieved the rank of Sergeant just prior to her cross over from Corrections to Law Enforcement.

For the next 12 years she worked at the Crystal River Police Dept. working in patrol as part of the Marine Unit, Bike Patrol and Mounted Patrol. She also spent a year as a training officer while completing the last several years as a Corporal.

She then transferred to the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office in 2003 and spent her first two years as a patrol deputy and made a transition to work as a Community Resource Officer for the next five years.

After 19 years of Patrol, she decided to retired from the State of Florida in 2008, continued in the Florida Retirement Drop Program until November 30th of 2010.  She was hired by the Dunnellon Police Department in January 2011.
