The Custodian of Public Records for the City of Dunnellon is the City Clerk. The City Clerk's office is the location where the City's public records are routinely created, sent, received, maintained and requested. You can make your request in person, over the phone, or submit the Public Records Request Form.
Once we have reviewed your request staff will contact you to let you know the estimated date and time you can expect the requested information and if there will be any charge. Labor charges will apply to extensive or large requests for information.
The owner is given twenty (20) days, upon receipt of notice, to have the property mowed. However, if the owner cannot be located or does not mow the property, a pre-qualified contractor will mow or clean the property at a predetermined cost. The City will invoice the owner of record for the work done, plus administrative costs, and a lien will be placed on the property.

You can report traffic-related problems in your neighborhood by calling 352-465-8510. Please provide information to the Call Taker about the location and nature of the problem, when it occurred, and whether you would like to have an Officer call you back. The problem will be forwarded to the appropriate unit for response and action.
Residents who want to ride along with a police officer may obtain a ride along application from the police department. Once it is completed and turned in at the Police Department. Once approved an Officer will contact you to set up a date and time for this worthwhile experience.
The Dunnellon Police Department is committed to maintaining a professional force and department. Both officers and civilians work for the department. If anyone has a complaint regarding an officer's actions or a civilian employee’s actions, he/she is encouraged to speak with a department Chief about the incident. Everyone should know they have every right to make a complaint and that no retaliation will come as the result of that complaint. The department will diligently investigate the complaint and implement corrective measures if they are warranted.
