1. (1) 2024 Vetted LITE LPR Speed Trailer with Vetted L5F Camera Enclosure and Upgraded Flashing Speed Display

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Dunnellon will receive sealed bids for construction of the 5-Year Capital Roadway Project.

All contractors licensed by the State of Florida are hereby invited to submit a bid on the above-mentioned project. Bids will be received until 10:00 am, E.S.T. on December 18, 2025, at the City of Dunnellon, City Hall, 20750 River Drive, Dunnellon, Florida 34431. Bids will be opened in the City Hall Council Chambers at 10:05 am E.S.T. or as soon thereafter as possible, on December 15, 2025, and read aloud. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: All work for the Project shall be constructed in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications prepared by the City. Bids shall be submitted for furnishing, delivering and installing all materials, equipment and services, including labor for the Work, which generally involves the following activities: 

For the 5-Year Capital Roadway Project, the work involves full depth reclamation (FDR) and paving of city streets identified in the City of Dunnellon 5-Year Capital Improvement Plan and in the bid documents.

CONTRACT TIME: Construction time to achieve Substantial Completion is 60 consecutive calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed for each individual fiscal year Road Project. 

PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS AND DRAWINGS: Copies of the Project Specifications and Drawings are available for review at Dunnellon City Hall. Bid packages may be obtained by clicking "BID2025-04 Specs" or by contacting the office of the Dunnellon City Clerk, Amanda Odom.

Bid Documents will be provided electronically. All bids shall be prepared using the Project Specifications and Drawings. Addenda will be sent via e-mail to all plan holders. No addenda will be issued after December 8, 2025. 

PRE-BID MEETING: A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on November 24, 2025, at 10:00 am at the City of Dunnellon, City Hall, 20750 River Drive, Dunnellon FL, 34431. 

BID SECURITY: A bid security will not be required for this project. 

PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENT BOND: The Owner will require that the Contractor furnish a Performance and Payment Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract Price. All Payment and Performance Bonds shall be secured from or countersigned by an agency or surety company recognized in good standing and authorized to do business in the State of Florida. 

The City of Dunnellon, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to waive formalities, waive any technical defects, reject any and all bids, and/or accept any bid which represents the lowest or best offer to the City.
